Thunderwolves win two of three on Region III road trip
SUNY Niagara won two of its three NJCAA Region III invitationals Friday through Sunday and moved to 5-3 on the season. The Thunderwolves competed at the Jefferson Invitational Friday in Watertown, the Herkimer Invitational Saturday in Little Falls, and the Mohawk Valley Invitational Sunday in Oneida.
SUNY Niagara now prepares for the NJCAA Region III championships May 9-11 at the Chautauqua Golf Club in Chautauqua. The Thunderwolves are looking for a third consecutive title and their fifth in the last six seasons.
Jefferson Community College Invitational, May 1, 2026
SUNY Niagara won with a team score of 3-over-par 291, which tied the team score record for lowest round in Region III history. Hudson Valley (303), Onondaga (309), Jefferson (318) and Jamestown (323) rounded out the top five.
Finn Graham broke the school's record for lowest individual tournament score at four-under 68. Bode Daumen finished in a three-way tie for fourth at 73.
Anthony Gagliardi shot a 74. Ryan Conrad shot a 76. Channing Brainard shot an 81 and Henry Genewick shot an 82 to round out the team scoring.
Herkimer County Community College Invitational, May 2, 2026
The Thunderwolves won consecutive invitationals behind a team score of 308, six strokes ahead of Onondaga. RCSJ Gloucster (319), Hudson Valley (331) and Jamestown (331) rounded out the top five.
Finn Graham placed first at 1-over 73. This marked Graham's second win of the weekend and the fourth of his sophomore campaign (fifth of career) along with his seventh total top-five finish.
Bode Daumen placed third overall at 4-over 77. Anthony Gagliardi finished in a five-way tie for fourth at 5-over 78.
Henry Genwick shot an 80, Ryan Conrad shot an 87, and Channing Brainard shot a 90.
Mohawk Valley Community College Invitational, May 3, 2026
SUNY Niagara placed second in the team scoring at 330, 12 strokes behind the winner Rowan Gloucester. Jefferson (333), Onondaga (338), and Hudson Valley and Jamestown (343) rounded out the top five.
Bode Daumen finished tied for second overall at 6-over 77. Finn Graham had the second lowest score on the Thunderwolves at 82.
Anthony Gagliardi shot an 85 and Ryan Conrad shot an 86. Channing Brainard shot an 88.
