Thunderwolves split opening two matches, Graham wins TC3 Invitational Friday

After recording a third fourth-place finish in the last four years at the NJCAA Division III nationals last season, SUNY Niagara golf returned to the course and split its first two matches of its 2026 campaign. The Thunderwolves began the season at the TC3 Invitational hosted by Tompkins Cortland Community College on Friday and the Onondaga Lazers Invitational on Saturday. 

SUNY Niagara returns to action when it faces Hudson Valley Community College on Saturday in Delmar and SUNY Adirondack on Sunday in Queensbury. 

 

TC3 Panthers Invitational 

 

SUNY Niagara won the season-opener with a team score of 311, one stroke ahead of Hudson Valley (312). Onondaga (317), SUNY Adirondack (321), and Jamestown Community College (344) rounded out the top five.

Sophomore Finn Graham finished first overall with a score of 72, three strokes ahead of the field. This marked the second time in Graham's Thunderwolf career that he finished first. 

Freshman Bode Daumen shot a 77. Sophomore Anthony Gagliardi shot a 78. Ryan Conrad shot an 84. Channing Brainard shot a 91 and Henry Genewick shot a 99. Luke Koble shot a 102. 

 

Onondaga Invitational

 

SUNY Niagara placed second in the eight-team team with a combined score of 323, five strokes behind the host Lazers. Hudson Valley Community College (338), Jefferson Community College (343) and Jamestown Community College (351) rounded out the top five. 

 

Ryan Conrad finished in a three-way tie for first overall at 5-over-par 77. Finn Graham finished two strokes from the tiebreaker and sixth overall at 79. Bode Daumen shot an 83, Henry Genewick shot an 84, Channing Brainard shot an 87 and Anthony Gagliardi shot an 88.
