Thunderwolves win Jefferson tourney

SUNY Niagara took top honors at the Jefferson Community College Invitational on Friday afternoon at Highland Meadows Golf & Country Club.

The Thunderwolves totaled 295 strokes at the Par-72 track. Hudson Valley CC was runner-up at 302. 

Sophomore Eliel Rodriguez continued his strong play as he tied for first place with a one-over-par 73.

Sophomore Ryan Kates along with the freshman duo of Finn Graham and Anthony Gagliardi tied for third place at 74.

Sophomores Teddy Swiech and Adam Firkins each carded a 76.

The Wolves have a quick turnaround with the Herkimer College Invite slated for Saturday morning.
